Bradley Jardine

Mr. Jardine was admitted to practice law in Arizona in 1978. He received his Juris Doctor from J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University, where he was a member of the Brigham Young University Law Review (1976 – 1978). From 1978 to 1979, Mr. Jardine was a law clerk to the Honorable Chief Justice James Duke Cameron of the Arizona Supreme Court. He practiced law with the firm of O’Connor Cavanagh, et al., from 1979 until 1983, and then joined Teilborg, Sanders & Parks in 1983 where he became an owner in 1987, and a senior owner in 1992.

In January 1998, Mr. Jardine co-founded Jardine, Baker, Hickman & Houston P.L.L.C. He practices in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death, professional (legal, medical, appraisal and accounting) defense, product liability, employment, bad faith and coverage, and in the defense of public entities. He has represented individuals, large and small businesses, school districts, cities, counties and the State of Arizona in jury trials. In addition, Mr. Jardine has successfully defended to verdict various legal malpractice, medical malpractice and commercial/contract claims.

The State Bar of Arizona certified Mr. Jardine in 1993 as a Specialist in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation, which he maintains. He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, Maricopa County Bar, Arizona Association of Defense Counsel, the Arizona Association of School Boards, the International Association of Defense Counsel and Defense Research Institute. He recently completed a seven-year term on the Arizona Supreme Court Committee on Examinations and presently sits on the Arizona State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. He has been selected by Super Lawyers magazine as a Super Lawyer® since its inception, and consistently as a Top Attorney in Phoenix by Phoenix Magazine and as a Top Attorney in Arizona by Arizona Magazine.

Mr. Jardine has been the exclusive tort liability defense counsel for certain first responders in Arizona and has also defended disability transport companies against elderly abuse/Adult Protective Services Act claims. He has tried to verdict a number of cases on behalf of governmental entities including the State of Arizona, several counties and many school districts. Such trials have arisen out of wrongful death claims, paralysis, very serious personal injury claims (dismembered limbs, etc.), and sexual harassment (see Johnson, Nolde v. Glendale High School District, 192 Ariz. 276, 964 P.2d 477 (1998), and Warrington v. Tempe Elementary School District, 197 Ariz. 68, 3 P.3d 988 (2000).

Most recently, Mr. Jardine represented Mr. James A. Ray and James Ray International, Inc. in the sweat lodge deaths civil claims arising out of the Sedona, Arizona, sweat lodge incidents in the Fall of 2009; was involved in the defense of many serious injury/damages cases; was involved in the case of the Kingman Prison inmates’ escape and resulting wrongful death claims; the claims arising from Fulton Brock and Susan Brock’s sexual molestation for which she is now in prison; and is representing both the gun store and its owner in Border Patrol agent Brian Terry’s wrongful death claim arising out of the “Fast and Furious” ATF operation.
